When we saw this shark swimming through the air we just had to have it. When it arrived in the mail we carefully put it together according to the instructions, and it worked on the first try. You need to get helium to fill it, but any store that has party balloons will do this for you either free or for a small charge.
I think this amazing shark will be a big seller this Christmas, and probably all year round. When you send it into any room the immediate reaction is stunned amazement, as it flies around the room flapping its tail, and it is easy to steer it in any direction with the RC control. You have to be in sight of the fish though. This is an infra-red controller like your TV remote and doesn't work around corners, or when the shark is otherwise out of direct sight from the controller.
It is just amazing fun though, and everybody who sees it for the first time is tickled pink. You can be the life and soul of the party with your air swimmer shark or colorful clown fish. You need to top up the helium once or twice a month depending on how much you use the air swimmer. They are made from tough nylon which lasts very well.This is a fun toy for adults as well as kids and it works just as advertised.

This is a fun remote controlled (infrared control ) air swimming shark, that is great for family fun. With the remote control you can make it move up/down, and turn through a full 360 degree range.The controls work for distances up to 40 feet.
The shark and clown fish are made from tough nylon material and when they bump into something they just bounce off it and continue on their way. They are tough and hard to puncture in any normal use.
The air swimmer has to be filled with helium gas, which you can get from any party balloon store, or you can rent a tankful of it. Can be reinflated many times and needs this once or twice per month in normal use. It is powered by four AAA batteries with one in the shark and three in the controller.
Size is 57 inches in length and 36 inches height.
Air swimmers are terrific for fun at kids parties, family occasions or just for a laugh at the office.

After a few weeks of use we are still impressed with our air swimming shark, and the entertainment it provides in all kinds of situations. It works best indoors, and needs really still air if you try to use it outside (not recommended). It flies very smoothly through the air by flapping its tail, and the direction is controlled by flapping more to the left or right to turn it.
The remote works well up to 30 or 35 feet and starts to lose control at 40 feet range or more. This is adequate for most rooms or office buildings, and you just have to walk after it in bigger halls etc. We find we need to top up the helium every 10 to 15 days depending on usage, but most party balloon stores are very obliging, and will refill for free if you are a customer or for a small charge.
Assembling the swimmer from the kit is not really difficult if you can follow directions given. There is also an online video available which makes it very clear.
The swimmer is 57 inches long (thats nearly 5 feet), so it is big and impressive as it floats effortlessly through the air. It is a great party booster and will break the ice to get things going.
One word of warning don't put it near any ceiling fans which are in operation or it may be damaged seriously. Most other things it just bounces off and goes on swimming along. All in all this is a great innovative product which really impresses people who see it in action, and surprises rthe heck out of them on first sight. I recommend it as something different and an innovative new product that really works well.
