If you are Lego Mad and you are a Star Wars follower this is the Advent calendar really want to have. If you want to save a bit of money, and want something just a little more like Christmas, you could buy the Lego City Advent calendar.
Here we have the special Lego Advent calendar. Every year Lego puts out it's standard Advent calendar. It is part of the City series of kits and usually, that particular calendar is in good supply. The other calendar is made in a more limited edition,and this Star Wars calendar is that edition. If this set is popular and sells out early, the usual resellers will arrive and the price will soar up ward; the MSRP is $40.

There isn't much real Christmas about this outfit. Basically it is 24 small Star Wars figures and vehicles. The only Christmas thing here is Yoda dressed up as Santa Claus. However the play value of this set is great. Those little figures fight and make really great mouth noises (bzzzzzz, bam, pew pew. There are no noise making electronics.
The box is the same as in previous years with rather poor cardboard; the standard Lego box. It looks easy for some of the doors to be torn when they are opened. If you were really careful, you possibly could put the toys back without tearing it. But why bother.Just keep them out to play with.
All Lego lovers will adore this calendar. We hasve enjoyed these calendar sets for a number of years. Even parents enjoy building with them.

Recent editions of Lego advent Calendar, for the past few years, include the mini figures along with some accessories, tools, weapons. It is still fun by using just a few bricks for modelling.
Lego has released for the past several years 2 kinds of advent calendars per year. There is the city calendar and another of a different type (castle-2008, pirates-2009, kingdoms-2010). This is the first Calendar edition with Star Wars Advent Calendar, and probably there will not be another Star Wars edition for 3-4 years. This is an excellent gift because it is not limited to December or 2011.
This is a good and interesting calendar set. Star Wars toys are always more expensive so Star Wars Advent costs $5 more than the City Advent Calendar but it also has 30 more pieces than the City Calendar.
